Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Fraud & Abuse Prevention Lead with strong knowledge of the online gaming industry, particularly across both Casino and Sportsbook.
The primary focus of the role will be to identify, investigate, and prevent bonus abuse and fraudulent player activity, while continuously improving our prevention processes and controls.
The ideal candidate understands player behaviour, gaming mechanics, promotions, wagering patterns, and how customers may attempt to exploit bonuses or product rules.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the identification and prevention of bonus abuse, multi-accounting, fraudulent activity, and promotion exploitation.

• Review suspicious activity across Casino and Sportsbook.

• Analyse player behaviour, betting patterns, wagering activity, deposits, withdrawals, and bonus usage.

• Identify weaknesses in promotions and recommend preventive controls before campaigns go live.

• Investigate suspicious Casino and Sportsbook cases and make clear, data-driven decisions.

• Work closely with Payments, VIP, CRM, Sportsbook, Casino, and Analytics teams.

• Develop and improve fraud rules, alerts, procedures, and escalation processes.

• Track abuse trends and provide regular reporting on findings, financial impact, and preventive actions.

• Support and coach the team on complex fraud and abuse cases.

• Proven experience in Fraud, Abuse Detection or Fraud Prevention within the iGaming industry.

• Excellent understanding of both Casino and Sportsbook products.

• Strong knowledge of bonuses, wagering requirements, promotional mechanics, and common abuse strategies.

• Ability to analyse complex player and betting behaviour.

• Strong investigative and decision-making skills.

• Comfortable working with data, reports, and fraud monitoring tools.

• Previous leadership or team management experience is highly desirable.
